ACHIEVING YOU FITNESS GOAL  This depends on the type of exercise we are doing but as a general rule we should aim for 30-60 minutes per day. Although it is important to exercise as often as we can, we should all keep a rest dat for ourselves so that we can recover and recharge. Try meditation or yoga as an alternative.

Training intensity

 When Training our aerobic ststem through cardio workouts (bikes, treadmills, crosstrainers etc.), to get the best workout we need to do atleast 20 mins (not including warm up/ cool down), at an intensity, of 65-90% Max HR to increase our fitness level. If you are just starting out and can't quite achieve 20mins constantly, try interval training i.e 1 minute high intensity, 1 minute low intensity, then work up to 5 minutes high and 1 minute low until you can handle the whole 20 minutes. Aim for at least 3 x per week.
